Sandvik is seeking applications from motivated individuals for Field Service Technician stationed in Kalimantan area (all sites).
The role is getting customer satisfaction by participating in installing, repairing, inspecting and commissioning service, considering economical and other aspects. Responsible for standard maintenance, faultfinding, repairing, inspecting, and commissioning service projects, taking customer and Sandvik framework and requirements into account.
Maintenance and Repair Support
Report and document executed work according to relevant procedures and work instructions.
Customer Value Add
Basic customer communication – can explain basic operating procedures and refer to responsible/relevant person.
COLLABORATION WITH PARTS & SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT DIVISIONS
Network with peers and next-level technicians and attend relevant training. Give feedback to line manager/team leader with regards to equipment maintenance and service challenges.
SUPERVISION/ACT AS A COACH
Limited guidance to level 1/trainees.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Ensure that all work procedures (using the tools provided), are carried out according to safety standards. Prepare and execute all activities in line with SHEQ rules, regulations, procedures, instructions, guidelines, and promote awareness, including highlighting anything out of the ordinary to others. Committed to comply with the implementation of Sandvik global EHS policy, ISO 14001/45001, and SMKP according to its authority.

Experience
2-4 years Sandvik Equipment experience
More than 3-year industry experience
EDUCATION, LICENCES & CERTIFICATES
High school diploma or technical training or technical college.
English proficiency (CEFR Level B2).
Basic Equipment knowledge and skills in at least one equipment type (automation a pre-requisite):
Load & Haul
Drilling and Rigging
Rock Drill Technologies
Automation and/or
Rock Drills
iSERIES – Basic knowledge and skills in the following: Decentralized Automation - Bus Technology; Control Systems; Mechanics; Hydraulics; Pneumatics; Electrics

Maintenance and Repair Support
- Repair and replaces parts, following instructions and technical equipment manuals. Interpret basic mechanical designs and maintenance manuals, assembling and dismantling to make necessary alignments and adjustments.
- Perform maintenance tasks independently and verify task results and tracks operating equipment to detect possible problems.
- Report and document executed work according to relevant procedures and work instructions.
- Basic customer communication – can explain basic operating procedures and refer to responsible/relevant person.
- Give feedback to line manager/team leader with regards to equipment maintenance and service challenges. Limited guidance to level 1/trainees.
- Ensure that all work procedures (utilizing the tools provided), are carried out according to safety standards.
- Prepare and execute all activities in line with SHEQ rules, regulations, procedures, instructions, guidelines, and promote awareness, including addressing anomalies to others.
- Technology and automation: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical components of machines and equipment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical circuits, control systems, and mechanical issues. Troubleshoot basic offboard automation and provide technical feedback. Assist customers with technical advice and troubleshooting for installed equipment.
Report and document executed work according to relevant procedures and work instructions.
