We are currently seeking talented, business-savvy professionals to join our Finance team, based preferably in Jakarta. This position will present you with outstanding professional challenges, diverse learning opportunities and career growth.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

Statutory Reporting and Audit

• Liaise with external auditors, tax agent and coordinate internally for timely and complete statutory filing which comply with local statutory requirements
• Need to liaise with PWC & Ernst & Young (EY) throughout the day. Timing is crucial as PWC & EY resources are assigned to our entity for a fixed period of time. Prompt responses throughout the day are necessary.
• Analyst needs to make the yearly trip to Singapore for the paper work, ensure good documentation of all board resolutions, agreements, etc. This is usually coupled with yearly asset count.
  
  

Financial Reporting - GL

• Coordinate Financial Reporting work processes with GBS to ensure timely and accurate month-end closing which are in line with PMI's reporting deadlines and local / US GAAP requirements.
• Ensure that all monthly, quarterly, Year-End, ad hoc reportings and closings are performed and submitted on a timely and accurate basis in conjunction with Finance Service Center and are in compliance with local & US GAAP and the processes are managed efffectively.
• Advise users and GBS on recording of financial transactions (eg YE accruals, recurring accruals, estimated amounts using judgment, blanket PO etc)
• Administer Finance related Purchase Orders
• Ensuring timely recording of all financial transactions according to PMI reporting guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure the timely submission of SAP forms and reconciliations in Runbook.
• Assist in capex related processes not migrated to COE / GBS FA team (eg Asset Count, Asset Tagging, Flowingly for Sundry Sales Fixed Assets)
• Complete government surveys
• Monitor internal control environment and pro-actively request for Internal Controls support over observed areas for concerns
  
  

Financial Reporting - Tax

• Assist with filing of tax submissions (GST, WHT) with local tax authorities on timely basis
• Assist with the extraction of PMI reports relating to tax, including Annual tax package.
• Assist in attending to queries from Aff Tax Team on company performance, nature of transactions etc
  
  

Financial Controlling - Budgeting

• Assist in the preparation of Income Statement (personnel cost related) and Balance Sheet forecasts
• Achieving business KPI for VFPL and drive the forecasting accuracy
• Drive process simplification, design & deploy or enhanced technologies - support finance solutions digitalization strategy
  
  

Treasury related

• Local point of contact for bank related matters
• Review and renew bank guarantees
• Prepare insurance reporting to meet PMI reporting requirements
• Prepare final and estimated dividend plan annually
• Coordinating manual payment in the form of manual cheques with local signatories if necessary
  
  

Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Finance, with minimum 3 years of relevant FP&A experience ideally in a mid-large sized MNC and/or prior Big 4 experience.
• Mandatory to be proficient in using Microsoft Excel (at advance level), Power Point, Hyperion and BI tools.
• Excellent communication skill in both written and spoken English, meticulous and works well in a team-based environment (both remote and onsite).
• Excellent interpersonal skill and ability to work in a team
• Willing to be located either in Jakarta or Surabaya
