Financial Planning Analyst

Your role within the organization will be to partner with Finance, Sales Teams and Senior Management to control the accuracy of data in the system and conduct analysis to support decision making. Your daily tasks are performed from our office in Biomedical Campus, BSD, Tangerang. This role involves continuously improving and refining the internal processes while growing alongside the company.

The role focuses on two main areas of responsibilities: controlling & analysis. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Controlling:

• Check the discounts given by sales people to customers
• Perform checks on subscription start dates/recurrence
• Perform various checks as preparation for the budget making exercise

Financial Analysis:

• Be a key part of budget making for Odoo Indonesia
• Build a monthly ‘Finance’ closing checklist
• Automate reports or update monthly the reports that can’t be automated
• Compare actuals vs. budget and explain differences (variance analysis)
• Keep an eye on profitability
• Ad hoc analysis/audit of a particular team
• Marketing analysis
• Benchmark Odoo against other companies in the industry/region

Others:

• Calculate sales commissions
• Participate in audits
• Build new processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Ad hoc

Must have requirements:

• Min. Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
• Fluent in both English & Bahasa Indonesia
• Strong willingness to learn a new accounting system (Odoo Accounting App)
• Experience of being in contact/working with Sales and other Stakeholders
• Analytical, curious, and thinking critically

• 2-5 years of experience
• Solution/analytical minded 
• Experienced of working in a startup or SMEs
• Proactive and adaptable
• Good knowledge about ERP, business management software, and tech industry in general
