What You Will Be Working On

As a Flutter Engineer at Nas.io, you will play a pivotal role in creating a world-class mobile app that empowers global communities. You will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining a robust mobile app: You’ll be comfortable working across various domains like Firebase services, push notifications, in-app purchases, deep links, media handling, and more.
• Building high-quality, modular, and reusable code: You will develop highly modular code that is both scalable and easy to maintain. Your attention to detail will ensure the highest standards of code quality, performance, and responsiveness.
• Full feature ownership: From conceptualizing a feature to delivering it, you’ll take complete ownership. This includes planning, execution, and proactively raising any concerns along the way to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Solving complex problems: You will face unique challenges that require thinking beyond conventional methods. We need someone comfortable navigating ambiguity and creating innovative solutions where standard practices may fall short.
• CI/CD integration and maintenance: You will implement and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines, ensuring seamless delivery of features with minimal manual intervention.
• Releasing updates: You will plan, manage, and execute app updates for both the iOS App Store and Google Play Store, while liaising with review teams to resolve any issues that may arise.
• Supporting and troubleshooting: You will help resolve issues in production environments, proactively identifying and addressing bottlenecks and bugs.
• Collaborating and learning: You will work closely with cross-functional teams, sharing your insights and feedback to shape the overall app experience. Your contributions can significantly influence our product roadmap.
• Native iOS/Android development (plus): While Flutter will be your main toolkit, experience with native iOS/Android development is a plus. At times, we may need to build custom native plugins to overcome Flutter limitations.
  
  
  

Who We Are Looking For

We’re searching for a quality-oriented Flutter Engineer who is passionate about crafting exceptional user experiences and building robust, scalable apps. Ideal candidates should:

Have at least 2 years of Flutter experience: You should have solid experience with Flutter, Dart, and creating reusable code components.

Be detail-obsessed and quality-focused: You take pride in writing clean, modular, and reusable code with a sharp focus on performance and responsiveness.

Own the process from start to finish: You are comfortable taking a feature from idea to implementation, including planning, execution, and managing app releases across both iOS and Android.

Solve complex, unconventional problems: You enjoy the challenge of tackling unique problems and creating innovative solutions when traditional methods don’t cut it.

Collaborate and communicate openly: You aren’t shy about sharing your thoughts and feedback, and you understand the importance of effective communication to drive the project forward. Your insights could help shape the entire app experience.

Learn and teach: You’re passionate about learning new tools and technologies and equally comfortable sharing your knowledge with others on the team.

Comfortable with CI/CD and app store submissions: You’ll be responsible for managing continuous integration and continuous delivery, along with handling app updates, including communicating with app review teams if issues arise.

Bonus – Native iOS/Android skills: Having experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) is a big plus, as it will allow you to build custom plugins when Flutter falls short.
