Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- IP Core Development
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to design and verify IP cores for state-of-the-art network interconnect, communications interconnect, and data processing.
- Implement Register Transfer Level (RTL) designs using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Integrate IPs into various FPGA design flows and toolchains (e.g., Quartus Prime).
- Advanced Device Architecture & Validation
- Work with next-generation FPGA device architectures for optimal performance and power efficiency.
- Perform design definition, implementation, and thorough validation of features.
- Develop design examples, demos, and technical documentation to illustrate use cases and best practices.
- High-Speed Serial Protocols
- Focus on at least one high-speed interface such as PCIe or Ethernet.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices for reliable data transmission.
- System-Level Knowledge & Debug
- Apply end-to-end system knowledge, incorporating hardware, software, and firmware considerations.
- Conduct hardware power-on and debug tasks to ensure successful bring-up of FPGA boards.
- Provide customer technical support, including issue resolution and real-time troubleshooting.
- New Product Rollouts
- Participate in new product release and rollout processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to customer documentation updates and training materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
- Fundamental Experience/Knowledge in:
- RTL design (Verilog, VHDL)
- FPGA architecture and design flows
- AXI & Avalon interfaces
- Scripting languages (C, C++, Perl, Python, TCL, etc.)
- Simulation and debug tools (ModelSim, Questa, or similar)
- Familiarity with system-level design concepts (hardware, software, and firmware integration).
