The Role

This role is expected to work fully under ET hours.

As a Full Stack Web Developer at Brightscout, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications that deliver seamless user experiences. You will work closely with our design, UX, and project management teams to turn creative concepts into functional, user-friendly websites and applications. This role requires a blend of front-end and back-end development skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating exceptional digital products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop, test, and deploy responsive and interactive web applications using modern web technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both front-end and back-end components.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance functionality.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across different browsers and devices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Web Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies including Typescript, HTML, CSS, React, Next.js, and other modern web development frameworks.
• Strong back-end development skills including API design and development.
• Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and server management.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and familiarity with GCP and Azure.
• Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with employees and leadership at all levels
