Game Marketing & Social Media Associate

Fat Raccoon Games is an indie game studio working on PC / Steam games. We’re looking for a hands-on marketing assistant to help execute day-to-day marketing tasks — especially social content and creator outreach.

This role is execution-focused, not strategy-heavy. You’ll be following clear briefs and templates, not inventing marketing theory.

What You’ll Do

• Create short-form content from gameplay clips (TikTok & Twitter/X),
• Write short captions, hooks, and post copy,
• Post regularly and do light community interaction (replies, likes),
• Assist with influencer / creator outreach (DMs & emails using provided templates),
• Track posts, creators, and replies in simple spreadsheets,
• Help register games for Steam events, festivals, and demos,

What We’re Looking For

• Familiar with indie PC / Steam games,
• Comfortable using TikTok & Twitter/X,
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, etc.),
• Good English proficiency — for posts, captions, and creator outreach,
• Organized, responsive, and reliable,
• Able to follow briefs and execute consistently,

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Indie game marketing experience,
• Understanding of Steam demos, wishlists, and festivals,
• Familiar with roguelite, action, or co-op games,
