General Maintenance Officer

We’re Hiring a General Maintenance Officer!

The General Maintenance Officer will be responsible for maintaining and supervising civil-related maintenance activities across the Palembang LPG Plant site. This includes building upkeep, road repairs, and utility systems. The role ensures optimal plant facility performance and provides civil maintenance support to all departments. This position replaces Mr. Sulistyo, who has retired.

Work Location: Site Palembang LPG Plant – Palembang

Reporting Line: This position reports directly to the Sr. Maintenance & Engineering Manager

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar field roles, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Manufacturing industries
• Strong knowledge of:
• Facility and utility systems
• General civil maintenance procedures
• Workplace health and safety practices
• Proficiency in:
• Microsoft Office
• Communication and coordination
• Demonstrated abilities in:
• Physical outdoor and indoor work
• Initiative and problem-solving
• Teamwork, adaptability, and self-development
  

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage general maintenance team (e.g., lighting, plumbing, cleaning, etc.)
• Plan and perform building, road, and utility maintenance tasks across the plant
• Support other departments by ensuring facility readiness and comfort
• Execute maintenance work efficiently and economically
• Prepare daily activity and maintenance reports
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and ensure operational readiness
• Follow instructions from the Maintenance & Engineering Head while ensuring confidentiality
• Ensure all maintenance activities are compliant with HSE standards and company policies
• Coordinate and execute installation or repair work as needed
