Genetics and Breeding Research Technician

Job Description:

a) Support the Senior Principal Research technician in the management of Genetics and Breeding trials located at MCRS Pangkep

b) Work with a small team to efficiently and accurately collect data from cocoa trees that facilitates the selection of elite cocoa germplasm

c) Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with Genetics and Breeding staff located at other Mars global sites

d) Undertake basic data analysis and sorting activities as requested

e) Look for opportunities to improve efficiency and data quality in the interests of continuous improvement

f) Develop and produce written and verbal reports on research activities as requested

g) Complete any other duties as requested by the Line Manager or other higher level managers
