Gojek - Region Operations Senior Manager, Surabaya

About The Role

Region Operations Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in curating and deploying strategies as well as doing analytics at the region and finding local insights to support the overall Operation strategies. He/she will work collaboratively with all Areas to oversee overall operations and ensure strategic implementation including product changes.

What You Will Do

• Design all-round regional strategies from operations perspective, followed by implementation and execution to ensure business objectives are well defined, translated and achieved
• Oversee and manage the performance of a team of Region Operations Managers, including extending regular coaching or mentoring to all operations teams at district and branch level throughout the region
• Build and maintain relationships as well as work with relevant stakeholders (both internal and external) to align operations strategies with overall regional and nationwide company objectives
• Prepare forecasts and budgets; strategize supply-demand availability, high quality driver engagement, market shares, and operations sustainability
• Ensure SOP and legal compliances in the region
  
  

What You Will Need

• Having at least 10 years experience in supply chain, preferably within mid-to-senior management function from multinational Company
• Having strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills using various improvement tools and methods
• Strong business sense with in-depth understanding about supply and demand planning
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, experienced in managing a big team, as well as strong in people development and mentoring / coaching
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia & proficient in spoken and written in English
• Having Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is an advantage
  
  

About The Team

As an Region Operations Senior Manager, he/she will work as a center of excellence for Operations stream in the Regions. He/she will work very intensively and collaborate with the Transport team and the Logistic Team, other Region Operations Senior Manager across regions as well as Area Senior Manager from each Area. He/she also will work closely with the Analytics team to analyze Operations data to get valuable insight and recommendation for business.
