About Our Client

With an interesting business concept which mixes play with educational opportunities for children, is looking to bring on board Head of Business to drive their operation model in Indonesia. The business will be combining educative, interactive and engaging activities to create a sustainable business model.

Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager of Operation, this role will be focusing on bringing revenues to the business, and to ensure the operation of the outlets are according to the global's standard. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that optimize the retail experience, improve customer satisfaction, and drive sales growth. Other key responsibilities:

• Developing and executing retail strategies aligned with the overall company vision and objectives.
• Analyzing and implementing plans to increase store profitability and enhance the customer experience.
• Monitoring competitor activities and trends to stay ahead in the market.
• Driving sales growth through various creative partnership/events to ensure the business is relevant in the market.
• Overseeing daily operations of all retail locations, ensuring consistency in product quality, customer service, and store presentation (this includes the F&B Operation).
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales targets, customer satisfaction scores, and profit margins.
• Implementing and optimizing technology solutions (e.g., POS systems, digital marketing tools) to streamline operations and improve the customer experience.
• Ensuring that retail stores align with and promote the company's brand identity, values, and standards.
• Working closely with local and global stakeholders (operation, sales, HR, finance, marketing).
  
  
  

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you will have be able to communicate fluently in both Bahsaa and English. Other requirement:

• At least 8+ years of experience in retail management, with a strong background in retail operations, and sales management. Other industries that we can look at include F&B and Hospitality (Hotels Management). Or, if you have experience running a school / education centers, you are welcome to apply.
• Customer-centric individual who are comfortable working with parents and children.
• Strong leadership abilities to manage teams, inspire performance, and drive operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Agile, and fast-learner and ability to work in an unstructured environment.
• A degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is typically preferred. If you have education background, you are also welcome to apply.
