Job Description
- Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to improve production efficiency and quality.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and machinery upgrades to enhance production processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and process optimization.
- Ensure the production facility complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement and monitor safety programs, conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Promote safe working practices and ensure all employees are trained in health and safety protocols.
- Track production performance daily, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets.
- Analyze production data and generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as efficiency, wastage, and production output.
- Identify and resolve any production bottlenecks, delays, or issues that may arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Textiles, Garment Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in production management, preferably in a garment or textile manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams in a high-pressure environment.
- In-depth knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, machinery, and production planning.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
