Amentum is supporting the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in providing specialized training, advisory and mentoring services to host nations under the Criminal Division’s International Criminal Investigative Training and Assistance Program (ICITAP). https://www.justice.gov/criminal-icitap.
ICITAP is a cornerstone of America’s global strategy for combating transnational crime, terrorism, countering trafficking in persons, establishing rule of law and enhancing human rights in developing countries. Amentum is the contract service provider to the DOJ ICITAP and Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance and Training (OPDAT) programs.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Central Asia Program Analyst will support program activities by collecting, analyzing, and managing data from in-country operations. The role focuses on evaluating program outcomes, synthesizing open-source information, and drafting reports to document the impact of initiatives. The Analyst will also provide technical assistance to program advisors and contribute to data visualization and analysis efforts to inform decision-making.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the ICITAP Attaché, Advisor, and project staff to evaluate and improve data collection, management, and reporting processes.
- Assist program advisors with technical tasks, including data collection, analysis, and visualization, to support program goals and outcomes.
- Aggregate, organize, and manage data collected from in-country program activities, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative data analysis and draft comprehensive reports to communicate findings and document program achievements.
- Monitor and analyze open-source materials, such as media reports, publications, and government data, to assess the broader impact of the organization’s work in Central Asia.
- Prepare and deliver briefings to senior officials, providing clear, concise, and actionable insights based on data analysis and program outcomes.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in administrative and operational management, with documented achievements in previous roles.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record of creating effective, practical solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for analysis, design, development, and presentation of program data and findings.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver reports on time.
- Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write high-quality reports and deliver professional briefings.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships within and outside the organization.
- Clearable: No clearance required as position is open for Third Country Nationals.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diplomatic or contractor experience within an embassy or similar international setting.
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate professionally and constructively in written and spoken formats.
- Experience designing and applying metrics to measure outcomes, intermediate outcomes, and program outputs.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
