Job Summary

An Insurance Specialist is responsible for evaluating and analyzing insurance applications to determine the risks involved and the appropriate coverage levels. They work closely with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide them with the best possible insurance solutions. The role involves a combination of customer service, risk assessment, policy management, and claims processing.

Job Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum bachelor's degree
• Having Previous experience in the insurance industry, particularly in underwriting, claims, or sales, is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills to assess risks and determine appropriate coverage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple policies and claims.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their insurance needs and explain insurance policies and options available.
• Analyze client information and assess risk levels to determine appropriate coverage.
• Manage and update existing insurance policies, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist clients with filing claims, ensuring that all necessary documentation is provided and claims are processed efficiently.
• Ensure all insurance activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Promote and sell insurance products to potential clients, meeting sales targets.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues related to their insurance policies.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and claims.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new insurance products, and changes in regulations.
