IT Business Analyst

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with expertise in Supply Chain Management and Inventory Management to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with global clients across industries to understand their business requirements and translate them into actionable system designs and technical specifications.

The primary focus of this role is to map supply chain business processes and create wireframes that outline system functionality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and developers, to develop comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and system specifications that align with client expectations and industry standards. This role emphasizes delivering effective solutions, with a particular focus on the Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and related sectors

This is a full-time, fully remote position requiring excellent English communication skills to collaborate effectively with our diverse global team and clients. The role demands a solid background in business analysis and technical documentation, with a strong focus on supply chain applications and systems. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across cross-functional teams."

Key Responsibilities

• Client Needs Analysis: Work directly with clients to understand their supply chain and inventory management challenges, and gather detailed business requirements to deliver customized solutions.
• Business Process Mapping: Analyze, map, and document supply chain workflows (procurement, inventory management, logistics) to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Wireframing: Collaborate with designers to create wireframes that represent the user interface and functionality of supply chain systems.
• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, ensuring that they are clearly translated into functional specifications.
• System Design and Documentation: Define and document technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development team.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation, supporting the development team in translating business needs into practical solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with product managers, UI/UX designers, and developers to ensure seamless integration of business processes with technical systems.
• Agile Methodology: Support Agile processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and regular stand-ups, to ensure that deliverables align with business objectives.
• Process Improvement: Provide recommendations for optimizing supply chain processes, leveraging industry best practices and client-specific insights.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, specifically in Supply Chain Management or Inventory Management.
• Proven experience in mapping business processes and creating wireframes or system flow diagrams.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and supply chain management software/tools.
• Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Axure, or Balsamiq.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations.
• Experience in gathering requirements and translating them into system design documents, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning and user story creation.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work remotely and independently, managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
