As a Junior Developer Advocate, you’ll contribute to Prisma’s growth by creating content, building projects, and engaging with developers in the community. You’ll work closely with senior advocates, supporting launches and helping developers succeed with Prisma.

What would you do at Prisma?
As a Junior Developer Advocate, you’ll contribute to Prisma’s growth by creating content, building projects, and engaging with developers in the community. You’ll work closely with senior advocates, supporting launches and helping developers succeed with Prisma.
We Anticipate You To Be Responsible For
- Developer Education
- Write tutorials, guides, and blog posts that help developers onboard and succeed with Prisma.
- Contribute content to support product launches, working alongside senior advocates.
- Community Engagement
- Actively participate on Twitter, Discord, and other platforms to answer questions and talk to our users and community.
- Driving Adoption
- Build small demo apps, templates, and example projects that show developers how to use Prisma effectively.
- Product Feedback
- Share developer feedback you encounter in community spaces with the broader team.
- Supporting the team
- Contribute to reviews, internal processes, and shared projects that ensure content quality.
- Learn from senior peers, steadily taking on more tasks independently over time.
We believe the right candidate for this position should meet a majority of the criteria listed below:
- Passionate about developer education and helping others learn.
- Experience writing tutorials, blog posts, or documentation.
- Technical experience in building projects in Node.js and TypeScript (other frameworks a plus).
- Familiarity with relational databases (especially Postgres).
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Comfortable engaging with developers online in communities like Discord or Twitter.
- Growth mindset—open to feedback, eager to learn, and proactive in execution.
- Contributing to open-source projects.
- Prior community involvement (e.g. Discord mods, open-source maintainers, meetups).
- Basic video or content editing skills.

- Take Home Assignment followed by a debrief call with members from Product Development & Leadership Team.
- Team Interview with members of the Product Development Team
- Interview with our Head of Developer Connections.
