We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and results-oriented Marcomm Officer to strengthen our brand presence, engage our community, and drive communications excellence. You will play a key role in how we position ourselves to the world, build credibility, and connect meaningfully with diverse audiences.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Craft clear, engaging, and persuasive content for various channels (press releases, website, social media, newsletters, reports, etc.).
- Plan and execute campaigns to promote programs, initiatives, and events, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
- Manage and grow social media platforms, creating content calendars and driving audience engagement.
- Liaise with internal teams to gather content, insights, and impact stories to amplify our work.
- Coordinate media relations efforts, including drafting press materials and maintaining media lists.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of communication activities, recommending improvements.
- Explore and adopt AI tools to improve content creation, data analysis, campaign management, and overall communications workflows.
- Stay updated with trends, tools, and best practices in marketing communications, including AI advancements relevant to the field.
- Support crisis communication efforts with clear, timely, and effective messaging.
- Good verbal and written communication skills (Required language: English – Interview will be conducted in English).
- At least 1–2 years of experience in marketing communications or related roles.
- Proven ability to craft content for diverse platforms and audiences.
- Strong understanding of social media management, content marketing, and brand storytelling.
- Interest in learning and working with AI tools to enhance communications outcomes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Eager to experiment, learn, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with tools such as Google Workspace, Canva, and social media scheduling tools.
- Experience in media relations and stakeholder communications.
- Familiarity with SEO, website management, and digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
- Basic design or video editing skills to enhance content outputs.
- Experience working with AI tools for marketing communications (e.g. ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai, Canva AI tools).
- Experience working with non-profit or education-focused organisations.
