Mechanic

Requirements

• 5 years experience as a Mechanic Fixed Plant (component rebuild).
• Experience perform gearbox & power transmission, rebuild, overhauls and component rebuild & assembly where a level of high precision and quality control is required.
• Able to measure to a high degree of accuracy using micrometres and other manual measuring equipment.
• Able to reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
  
  

Job Descriptions

• Perform Gearbox, Pump, Valve overhauls and component assembly where a level of high precision and quality control is required.
• Able to measure to a high degree of accuracy using micrometres and other manual measuring equipment.
• Operates and maintains all workshop equipment within your skill set.
• Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
• Provide feedback and input in relation to opportunities for improvement, i.e. tooling, processes and working environment
• Ensure that all machines and equipment are maintained in a clean and tidy condition and that no items are left loose.
