Get to know our Team:

This function operates within the Regional Operations Center of Excellence, focusing on orchestrating enhancement of process and system/ product for backend operations services for driver and merchant partners across markets. We are a team that is passionate about creating and ensuring value for our driver and merchant partners.Also Strive to do excellent and meaningful work with the clarity of thought, creativity execution.

We are looking for a dedicated Merchant Onboarding Associate with primary responsibility to oversee the onboarding and activation of merchant applications within our system. You are expected to provide a smooth onboarding process for new merchants, contributing to the success of our operations. The role will be directly report to the manager and the role will be hyrbid.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Oversee the entire merchant onboarding process, from receiving applications to activating them in our system, ensuring a smooth integration into our platform.
• Develop and implement strategies and procedures to enhance the efficiency of the onboarding process, reduce turnaround times, and increase merchant satisfaction.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and teams across all Grab markets to improve workflows that impact merchant onboarding and activation.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the onboarding process, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to address any issues.
• Ensure the onboarding process comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  
  

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in operations or a similar field, with a proven track record of managing and improving processes or similar operational workflows.
• Experience in overseeing end-to-end merchant onboarding, collaborate with other departments, and build relationships with individuals across several levels and backgrounds.
• Ability to monitor and evaluate the performance of the onboarding process, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to address any issues.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and company policies, ensuring compliance throughout the onboarding process.
