We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Office Logistics Supervisor to join our facilities team working at a prestigious central government building in Westminster. This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

The Role

• Reporting to the Logistics Manager
• To assist with the day to day running of the logistics department and with the goods in and out process on behalf of the client adhering to security guidelines at all times.
• To provide an excellent level of customer service to the client and building users.
• To assist with the management of the porters, mailroom services, FSA’s and conference suite within the contract in accordance with the SLA and KPI’s.
• Responsible for supervising and motivating staff to maximise departmental stability. Supervision of work schedules and planning training.
• To supervise the goods in and goods out process, adhering to security guidelines at all times.
• To ensure all figures for incoming and outgoing mail are recorded and logged and any other service related analysis. This is to include data relating to franking machine and mail and courier distribution.
• Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday with a one hour unpaid break.
  
  

The Person

• Previous experience in a similar role essential
• Excellent customer care skills, together with IT literacy
• Will be self-motivated, with the ability to work unsupervised, able to use initiative and ensure confidentiality
• Employment in this post is dependent upon obtaining security clearance; this requires 5 years’ residency in the UK and a current passport.
