The primary responsibility for this role is to handle all aspects of our bank reconciliation using the Xero accounting platform. This is a remote position with flexible hours, making it an ideal opportunity for a self-starter who excels at focused, repetitive tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliation for multiple accounts within Xero.
- Match bank statement transactions to invoices, bills, and other financial records.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Xero.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure all transactions are correctly coded and categorized.
- Proven experience with Xero accounting software, with a strong focus on bank reconciliation.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
