Role Mission
The mission of the Sales Assistant is to support the company’s expansion by recruiting, onboarding, and managing distributors, developing sales campaigns, and ensuring financial accountability through performance reporting. By providing distributors with the tools and guidance they need, the Sales Assistant will help grow sales and increase market visibility.
Note: This is a highly performance-based role, where your income is directly tied to your success. A significant portion of your earnings will come from commissions, so the more you succeed in sales, the more you earn. Your ability to drive results and hit sales targets will directly impact your overall compensation.
Clear Responsibilities
- Distributor Recruitment and Onboarding: Identify, recruit, and onboard new distributors in the region, ensuring alignment with the company’s brand and sales objectives.
- Distributor Portfolio Management: Manage distributor portfolios by processing orders, tracking performance, and overseeing incentive programs. Foster long-term relationships to drive continued growth.
- Sales Support: Develop and provide distributors with marketing materials and sales support, ensuring they have the tools to successfully convert leads into sales.
- Event and Sales Strategy Execution: Implement sales strategies at events and tournaments to boost sales and manage booth operations effectively. Provide distributors with on-site support to maximize engagement and conversions.
- Financial Reporting and Projections: Create expense and financial reports, track sales performance, and provide accurate projections of future performance based on historical data and market trends.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, product displays, and inventory restocking at events. Ensure accurate reporting of inventory levels and maintain product availability.
- Market Feedback: Collect and analyze insights from distributors and customers to provide valuable feedback to the sales team, helping improve product offerings and distribution strategies.
- Independent Work and Performance: Take initiative to manage projects independently, consistently delivering results in line with performance KPIs.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The Sales Assistant will be evaluated based on the following KPIs:
- Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals through distributor management and event participation.
- Distributor Onboarding: Successfully recruit and onboard distributors, meeting or exceeding onboarding targets.
- Distributor Satisfaction Scores: Maintain at least a 90% satisfaction score from distributors, based on surveys and feedback.
- Conversion Rates: Convert at least 20-30% of distributor leads into active partners through consistent follow-up and relationship building.
- Inventory Accuracy: Ensure a 98% accuracy rate in managing inventory levels and product availability.
- Lead Generation and Follow-up Efficiency: Achieve a 90% follow-up rate with distributor leads within 24-48 hours, converting leads into active distributors or sales.
- Financial Reporting: Deliver accurate financial reports and sales forecasts on time.
Skills and Attributes
- Sales Ability: Confidence in recruiting distributors, converting leads, and closing deals. Ability to build and nurture long-term distributor relationships.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with distributors, clients, and team members.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in CRM tools, sales management, and financial reporting software.
- Problem-Solving: Able to resolve distributor issues and manage operational challenges efficiently.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage distributor relationships, inventory, and financial reporting.
- Attention to Detail: Essential for managing distributor portfolios, financial reports, and ensuring all processes run smoothly.
Requirements
- High-level proficiency in English, with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or event management, with a strong preference for experience in distributor management.
- Proven ability to manage distributor networks, create compelling sales incentives, and effectively track performance.
- Strong financial skills to create accurate expense reports, manage budgets, and forecast sales performance.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and succeed in a fast-paced, startup environment where multitasking is essential.
- Flexibility to travel internationally for events and manage booth operations, distributors, and sales efforts.
