Job Description

About the role:

The Process and Product Science, Analyst is responsible for managing and performing scientific research, development, and testing of new products, manufacturing processes, and raw materials. This role supports the development and testing of theories on the physical, chemical, and biological properties of materials and ingredients under various conditions, contributing to Takeda's mission.

How You Will Contribute

• Develop and test theories on the physical, chemical, and biological properties of materials and ingredients under various conditions
• Devise research methods, prepare technical specifications, and specify laboratory test equipment and processes
• Make recommendations concerning acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials
• Perform cell culture techniques following strict protocols with minimal independence
• Operate High-Performance Liquid Chromatography equipment under direct supervision for basic tasks
• Conduct basic chromatography operations under close supervision to ensure accuracy
• Produce technical documents by following templates and examples
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Applies basic Good Manufacturing Practices with guidance, ensuring compliance in routine tasks
• Utilizes fundamental biochemistry knowledge under supervision for basic laboratory tasks
• Performs cell culture techniques following strict protocols with minimal independence
• Engages with innovative processes by closely following established guidelines
• Operates High-Performance Liquid Chromatography equipment under direct supervision for basic tasks
• Executes simple chemical engineering tasks by adhering to provided instructions
• Conducts basic chromatography operations under close supervision to ensure accuracy
• Understands biotechnology principles to a basic extent, applying them under guided settings
• Produces technical documents by following templates and examples
• Works with biopharmaceuticals by strictly adhering to guidelines to handle living cell-derived substances
• Performs basic biochemical assays with guidance, understanding the fundamental reactions involved
