Project Machinery Engineer

The Project Machinery Engineer is responsible for the technical oversight and execution of machinery-related activities within engineering projects. This role involves detailed machinery selection, design review, coordination of installation and commissioning, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Acting as the machinery expert, the specialist collaborates with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to resolve technical challenges, optimize equipment performance, and support project timelines

Role Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee machinery-related projects from procurement through commissioning
Conduct technical evaluations and participate in design and specification reviews
Manage and witness FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test)
Supervise installation and ensure utility connections meet equipment requirements
Review qualification protocols (IQ/OQ), working with QA and validation teams
Collaborate with cross-functional departments (production, engineering, QA, procurement)
Maintain project timelines, punch list tracking, and ensure GMP-compliant execution
Ensure documentation (URS, DQ, IQ, OQ) is complete and audit-ready
Support troubleshooting and provide technical input during initial startup

Qualification
Bachelor’s degree Chemical Engineering,
Strong academic foundation in machinery design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and process engineering.
Internship or project experience related to machinery, equipment installation, or industrial processes is a plus.
Basic understanding of machinery types such as pumps, compressors, mixers, and conveyors.
Familiarity with engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
Knowledge of industry standards and safety practices is advantageous.
Good problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to work on-site and support installation, commissioning, and testing activities.
Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities in a project setting
