As the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's purchasing process. This includes sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and improve efficiency.

As the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's purchasing process. This includes sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the company's objectives
- Identify and source new suppliers for fresh, meat and groceries, negotiate contracts and maintain relationships
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products and services
- Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Monitor and track supplier performance and address any issues or concerns
- Develop and maintain purchasing policies and procedures
- Train and supervise purchasing staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Stay updated on industry developments and trends to make informed purchasing decisions
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and cost savings to senior management
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with purchasing software
- Familiarity with sourcing and procurement strategies
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
