QHSSE Sr. Associate

As QHSSE Sr. Associate you will lead the Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (QHSSE) department. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining QHSSE policies and systems that align with the company's strategic direction. The QHSSE Manager will ensure compliance with industry standards, promote a culture of safety and quality, and support all departments in meeting QHSSE objectives.

What will you do:

• Develop, establish, implement, and maintain QHSSE policies, including quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety protocols.
• Review and update the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) regularly to ensure its relevance, adequacy, effectiveness, and alignment with the company's strategic goals.
• Implement and maintain the Quality and Safety Management System, including document control, policy/SOP/work instruction coordination, ISO audits, and HSE programs.
• Define, communicate, and ensure understanding of QHSSE roles and responsibilities across the organization.
• Integrate management systems to meet standard requirements, ensuring processes deliver intended outcomes and reporting on IMS performance.
• Promote a customer-focused approach within the IMS and ensure all employees apply the system in their respective functions.
• Assist departments in addressing customer/vendor issues related to workplace health and safety.
• Maintain the integrity and control of documents required by the IMS, ensuring they are updated and managed effectively during organizational changes.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with QHSSE standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide training and support to employees to foster a culture of safety and quality.
• Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance QHSSE performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to keep QHSSE policies and procedures up to date.

Minimum Qualifications: What will you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a qhsse management role , preferably in the logistics, transportation, or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of standards (e.g., iso 9001, iso 14001, iso 45001) and experience with Integrated Management Systems.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing QHSSE policies and systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Analytical mindset with a strong focus on detail and problem-solving.
• Certification in the qhsse management or related fields (e.g., nebosh, IOSH) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Ms. Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
