PT St. Morita Industries is a factory that produces adhesive products (Tape & Adhesive) which has 80 product categories with more than 13,000 different types of products (Stock Keeping Unit). Consisting of 16 departments that represent almost all adhesive product businesses in the world from general to specialized needs, we are committed to supporting all types of adhesive product applications to create a better world.

St. Morita Industries started in 1996. With 25 years of experience in producing and supplying adhesive products, we have expanded our product lines and services to meet the needs of our customers to provide solutions for them. We work closely with renowned companies from around the world, such as Epson, Faber Castell, Samsung, LG, Aice, Pertamina, Garuda Food, Indofood, and Sinarmas Group. We are proud to provide services to these companies along with other companies under our portfolio

It started as a Product Support-Research & Development (PS-R&D) and Quality Control- Research & Development (QC-R&D) which in charge of developing adhesive and adhesive tape products.

St. Morita carries innovation as a new way of doing something, refers to incremental and emergent or radical and revolutionary changes in thinking, products or processes. Through the innovation, St. Morita endeavors to develop new products that can meet consumers’ wishes, bring added values and demonstrate “Unique Winning Advantages” over similar products from competitors. JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Conducting selection of RM products and supporting materials from suppliers
2. Making designs (designs/developments) of Creative products that will be marketed in modern markets or online.
3. Making designs for new products and improving products (backing and adhesive)
4. Conducting quality testing on products (new products; new suppliers) and making reports
5. Ensuring that incoming new products are in accordance with the specified specifications
6. Making work instructions for testing in accordance with the test methods agreed upon with customers and suppliers (equality of test methods)
7. Conducting quality testing and analyzing products from Marketing
8. Making test standards and specification standards from RM and FG for the Product approval process.
9. Conducting problem analysis at customers and designing corrective action/preventive action so that problems do not recur (coordinating with related departments).
10. Coordinate with QC, PPIC, and Marketing to allocate products
11. Monitor the condition and calibration of test equipment used in R&D
12. Prepare documents and participate in every ongoing Internal and External Audit

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and other related to Adhesive tape (polymer and glue) from the top 5 universities in Indonesia
• Have scientific ideas related to polymers, adhesives and chemical materials (can attach certificates of scientific work, writings regarding ideas in developing tape and adhesive products).
• Have Great passion for developing a product Tape and Adhesive products (making paper/portfolio for passion and hope to develop products, we attach sample of paper/portofolio )
• Have work experience / internship in Industry / manufacture (Understand ISO 9001; ISO 14000, Halal.
• Understanding and can implemented of testing standards/products such as ISO, ASTM, SNI, JIS, and related other testing about Polymer, Tape,and adhesive.
• Able to work in a team, handle Industrial and Creative Product Development projects (send a proof creative idea is preferred )
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills (polymer and chemical specialist):
• Excellent public speaking skills in both Indonesian and English
