We are hiring a Risk Manager who is able to work independently and report to the Indonesia Risk Management Coordinator while collaborating with the Regional Risk team to implement the global financial risk management framework in Indonesia.This role focuses on Investment Risk Management while supporting Operational and Business Risk activities
This role is based in Jakarta
What you will do

• Investment Risk Oversight: Support risk management activities and develop a robust investment risk framework for Indonesia.
• Risk Analysis & Assessment: Conduct analysis on factor-based analytics, VaR, sensitivity, stress-testing, liquidity, and capacity assessments.
• Risk Monitoring & Engagement: Monitor risk limits, support investment team engagement, and collaborate on process automation, data management, and reporting solutions.
• Stress-Testing: Support scenario design, diagnostics, and engagement with investment teams.
• Risk Escalation & Mitigation: Monitor and escalate risk issues, track mitigation actions, and ensure closure.
• Risk Reporting: Prepare reports for the BOD Meeting, BOC Meeting and Regional Risk Working Group.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support complexity assessments, due diligence, and risk-related initiatives across business units.

What you bring

• University Degree in related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in asset management, with relevant experience in investment risk management and/or investment analytics roles
• Sound knowledge of market risk and liquidity risk management, with a solid understanding of best practices in risk management and Indonesian regulations
• Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and spoken) are required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Bloomberg
• Strong analytical skill, highly organized, independent, and meticulous
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player to achieve objectives
• Strong communication and good stakeholder manager skills
• Knowledge or risk models and solutions (MSCI RiskMetrics, LMX, Barra, Bloomberg PORT).
• Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
• FRM or CFA certification would be considered an advantage
• Holding a WMI license is preferable
