Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough safety risk assessments for new systems and equipment prior to commissioning, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Safety Protocols: Develop and implement safety protocols in accordance with local and international safety standards.
Inspections: Carry out safety inspections and audits during the commissioning process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Training: Provide safety training and workshops for staff and contractors involved in the commissioning process, focusing on local regulations and best practices.
Incident Investigation: Investigate safety incidents and near incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of safety inspections, audits and compliance reports, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible.
Collaboration: Work closely with the project team, contractors and safety personnel to build a safety culture during the commissioning phase.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to safety practices and policies based on findings from inspections and industry developments.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety management, or related field.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in safety management, particularly on projects in the industrial or construction sector.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., OHS, NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
Skills: In-depth knowledge of Indonesian safety regulations, good communication skills, and proficiency in risk assessment techniques.
