Job Descriptions:
- Communicating product information and promoting products to customers.
- Conducting market research and analyzing purchasing needs and after-sales customer requirements.
- Researching and analyzing technology trends of competitors for new and after-sales business.
- Creating marketing strategies to meet the company's order targets.
- Building positive relationships with customers.
- Reviewing customer inquiries in English and Bahasa.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and affiliate companies in Indonesia.
- Compiling cost estimates, preparing quotations, and commercial proposals.
- Participating in meetings with internal stakeholders and customers, providing support to facilitate smooth communications in Bahasa, English, and Japanese.
- Drafting commercial correspondence, including emails and letters for internal stakeholders and customers.
- Preparing meeting minutes.
- Managing incoming and outgoing documents.
- Arranging visas, hotel bookings, and transportation for visitors to and from Indonesia in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Translating and summarizing documents in Bahasa.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of annual sales forecasts.
- Collaborating with affiliates.
- Supporting project execution by liaising with relevant departments within the company, affiliates in the MPW group, and clients. This may involve visiting client offices or power plant sites to gather feedback and ensure project success.
- Monitoring, coordinating, and reporting project and product delivery statuses.
- Assisting clients with any issues arising after product installation during and after the warranty period.
- Reporting activities and forwarding customer claims or suggestions to superiors.
- Executing tasks assigned by superiors.
- Facilitating business interactions with Japanese clients and colleagues by understanding Japanese business etiquette and communication style to promote cross-cultural collaboration and understanding.
- Undertaking any other relevant duties as required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor or higher degree in business administration, economics, engineering or a related field from reputable university. (Top universities in Indonesia or abroad, preferably with study abroad experience in Japan)
• Minimum 3 years working experience in a commercial/sales, administrative, or business support role ideally within the energy, engineering or construction sectors. (knowledge of energy sector is plus).
• Previous experience working with or in Japanese companies is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word,Excel and PowerPoint) skills.
• Possess high level integrity and ability to work under pressure.
• Critical, analytical and logical thinker.
• Detail- oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both local and international teams
• Excellent communication skills and linguistic skills:
• Fluency in English (Business level).
• Japanese communication skill (N3 upper level or above, preferably have experience studying in Japan or have experience using Japanese during work on daily basis)
• Knowledge of International Commercial terms.
• Knowledge of local laws and regulations (Preferred).
