SAP PI/PO Consultant

Our client is an award-winning strategy & technology consulting firm with a dominant presence in Southeast Asia.

They are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented SAP PI/PO Consultant to join their enterprise technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SAP Process Integration (PI) and Process Orchestration (PO), including the development of integration interfaces using ESR, ID, and BPM tools. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless and secure data flow across business-critical systems.

Please note that this is a CONTRACT, REMOTE position open to candidates residing in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei only. Minimum guaranteed duration will be 1 year.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain interfaces using SAP PI/PO (Single Stack) for SAP-to-SAP and SAP-to-non-SAP integrations.
• Work with functional and technical teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and configure interface objects including ESR (Enterprise Service Repository), ID (Integration Directory), and iFlows.
• Build and manage integration scenarios using REST, SOAP, RFC, IDoc, JDBC, and File adapters.
• Perform message monitoring, error handling, and performance tuning of PI/PO systems.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers and functional consultants to troubleshoot interface-related issues.
• Support migration to or coexistence with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) or SAP Integration Suite if applicable.
• Document interface specifications, configurations, and operational support procedures.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and efficient error handling mechanisms within all interfaces.
  
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ideally 10+ years of experience in SAP PI/PO interface development, configuration, and support.
• Deep knowledge of PI/PO single stack (7.5+), including ESR, ID, iFlow, and NWDS tools.
• Proficiency in adapters (IDoc, SOAP, REST, RFC, File, JDBC, SFTP) and related protocols.
• Experience with XML, XSLT, WSDL, and message mappings (graphical and Java-based).
• Working understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI, HR) to support integration contexts.
• Exposure to SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) or Integration Suite is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
