Key Responsibilities:
- Actively take part in engagements with key local business associations (AHK Indonesien - EKONID, Eurocham Indonesia, AmCham Indonesia, etc) & government branches
- Lead negotiations and/or lobby government branches when new policies create disruption for adidas’ business. This is include but not limited to Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Finance (for any regulation changes related to tax and investment), Ministry of Investment, Ministry of Communications and Ministry of Labour
- Keep business stakeholders updated on the latest Indonesia-specific government laws, strategies, policies, and practices relevant to Adidas' business. Provide strategic advice to ensure potential impacts are assessed, business operations are secured, and new business opportunities are considered
- Represent adidas Indonesia in the associations of brands (Apregindo) & associations of retailer (Aprindo) to ensure the interests of adidas are supported and protected by these associations
- Work with SEA Legal team to ensure compliance with local laws
- Ensure that all legal documents of adidas Indonesia are updated and comply with the latest government regulations
- Interpret Indonesian legislation and clarify its interpretation and application by relevant government bodies, ministries and authorities
- Manage the signing process of hard copy agreements and legal documentation, and physical legal archive
- Translation of templates, agreements and documentation from English into Bahasa Indonesia to ensure compliance with local laws

Government Affairs role in supporting the business related to importation process
- Prepare the data submission, ensure it aligns with the government’s specified requirements
- Key in all information required into the template and submit it to government website

Daily monitoring on application/approval status where the frequency of applications in 1 year

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong networking skills and contacts across government branches and authorities.
- Strong analytical, quantitative skills and problem solving
- Well seasoned negotiator/lobbyist with government officers
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, able to communicate at senior management level
- Knowledge of retail and footwear industry is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of standard software applications (Excel, Words, PowerPoint)
