Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic buying plans to achieve sales and margin targets.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and product quality.
  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to make informed buying decisions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional strategies and product launches.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to minimize out-of-stock situations.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and pricing strategies.
  • Forecast sales trends and prepare accurate reports on buying activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Buyer, Buyer, or Merchandiser in the retail industry, preferably within fashio, lifestyle, sport or footware products, min 5 years of working experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a deep understanding of retail mathematics and inventory management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for luxury products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with inventory management software is a plus. -
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
