Our client, a renowned holistic wellness studio and gluten-free café in Ubud is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager.
The Senior Operations Manager will oversee all operational functions, ensuring that existing systems are implemented effectively, staff are well-supported, and daily tasks are executed efficiently. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong stamina, dedication, and excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be able to delegate tasks with confidence, manage multiple priorities, maintain professional relationships with government authorities, and ensure the smooth, integrated operation of both the café and the wellness studio.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an operations or restaurant manager for well-established brands.
- Willing to live in or relocate to Ubud, Bali.
- Strong background in hospitality or operations management, with proven leadership experience.
- Solid understanding of government processes, permits, and compliance requirements.
- Physically fit, healthy, and resilient, with the stamina to manage a demanding six-day work schedule.
- Demonstrated stability through long-term tenure in previous roles.
- Excellent delegation, organisational, and communication skills.
- Experience in building and property maintenance oversight, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on time.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to long-term growth within the organisation.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with government officials and relevant offices.
- Support the process of obtaining third-party food safety certifications (e.g., HACCP) and ensure supplier compliance with gluten-free standards.
- Demonstrate strong financial literacy with the ability to monitor budgets and review reports.
- Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written).
- Ensure the smooth daily operations of both the café and the wellness studio.
- Lead and guide team members, ensuring responsibilities are clearly assigned, monitored, and completed.
- Oversee purchasing activities and stock systems to maintain adequate supplies at all times.
- Negotiate with distributors, producers, and manufacturers for bulk purchasing to achieve cost efficiency.
- Coordinate, schedule, and monitor building maintenance, ensuring all work meets quality standards and deadlines.
- Mentor, supervise, and support staff to ensure consistent performance and professional growth.
- Manage multiple priorities efficiently and ensure timely completion of all operational tasks.
- Collaborate with directors on projects, renovations, and long-term development plans.
- Serve as a key point of contact between directors, staff, suppliers, and external partners, maintaining clear and professional communication.
- Perform other related duties as required.
