Role Overview:
We’re seeking a proactive and results-oriented Senior Sales Account Executive to lead the market introduction of BukuWarung’s new EDC product in the retail payment space. This role will focus on identifying, onboarding, and supporting local retailers, gathering feedback, and building foundational relationships to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
We’re seeking a proactive and results-oriented Senior Sales Account Executive to lead the market introduction of BukuWarung’s new EDC product in the retail payment space. This role will focus on identifying, onboarding, and supporting local retailers, gathering feedback, and building foundational relationships to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Deployment Execution: Drive the adoption of the EDC product by identifying high-potential retail locations and meeting KPIs related to product activation, transaction, and customer satisfaction.
- Market Engagement & Partner Onboarding: Identify and secure local retailers to participate, building and maintaining strong relationships through product training, troubleshooting support, and ongoing engagement.
- Customer Feedback & Market Insights: Gather and analyze feedback from retailers and end users to evaluate product fit and demand. Prepare and present insights to inform broader sales and marketing strategies.
- Localized Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to maximize EDC adoption and optimize product placement, addressing on-the-ground challenges as they arise.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment on goals, address challenges, and refine go-to-market tactics based on insights gathered.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years in sales, ideally within fintech, payments, or POS systems.
- Proven experience in executing sales initiatives in regional or local markets.
- Background in EDC or POS system sales is a plus.
- Sales & Relationship Management: Strong track record in building and managing merchant relationships, securing new partners, and consistently meeting sales targets.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to collect and interpret qualitative and quantitative data, with a focus on translating insights into action.
- Self-Starter with Execution Focus: Comfortable working independently in a new market environment, showing resourcefulness in handling challenges.
