Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT and INVENTORY MANAGEMENT to join our remote team. In this role, you will collaborate with global clients across industries to understand their business requirements and translate them into actionable system designs and technical specifications.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and developers, to develop comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and system specifications that align with client expectations and industry standards. This role emphasizes delivering effective solutions, with a particular focus on the Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and related sectors.
This is a full-time, fully remote position, requiring strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively with our diverse global team and clients.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT and INVENTORY MANAGEMENT to join our remote team. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Inventory Management and Supply Chain Solutions.
- Proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry or a similar complex, high-stakes sector is preferred.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
- Experience in translating business needs into system design documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and supply chain management tools.
- Ability to collaborate closely with designers to create system design drafts that meet client expectations and align with technical requirements.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken), as you will be interacting with clients and stakeholders globally.
- Ability to analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions for continuous improvement in supply chain and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and deliver solutions within deadlines.
- Client Needs Analysis: Work directly with clients to understand their supply chain and inventory management challenges, and gather detailed business requirements to deliver customized solutions.
- System Design: Collaborate with designers to create system design drafts that translate client requirements into feasible solutions. Ensure designs meet business needs and technical feasibility.
- User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Develop clear user stories and define acceptance criteria to guide the development process. Ensure that these align with client expectations and system functionality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to ensure the implementation of features aligns with the agreed-upon system design and business requirements.
- Agile Process Support: Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and regular stand-ups to ensure the development team understands user stories and priorities.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flow diagrams, and system specifications. Prepare regular status reports for clients and senior management.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Provide strategic recommendations for optimizing supply chain and inventory processes, utilizing industry best practices and client-specific insights.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in clients’ existing supply chain processes and work with internal teams to develop solutions that drive greater efficiency, visibility, and control.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates, clarifying requirements, and ensuring that the project scope is clear and well-understood by all parties.
