Senior UI/UX Designer - Remote Work

Position Overview

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process from research and concept development to final visual design. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive, innovative, and aesthetically pleasing designs that enhance user experiences. You will also mentor junior designers and help define and maintain design standards across all digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing for web and mobile products.
• Translate business requirements and user needs into intuitive and elegant user interfaces that balance usability and visual appeal.
• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability studies, to gain insights into user behavior and pain points.
• Create and present user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain design systems and UI component libraries to ensure consistency across products.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing) to ensure design feasibility and seamless implementation.
• Conduct A/B testing and analyze user data to iterate and improve upon designs based on real-world feedback.
• Advocate for best practices in UX design, accessibility, and usability across the organization.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and helping them grow their design skills.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our products remain competitive and cutting-edge.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of designing successful, user-friendly products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user interface design, user experience, and problem-solving across various platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
• Experience with user research methods and tools, including usability testing, persona creation, and journey mapping.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first design practices.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and understanding of front-end development.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior designers and guide design teams.
• Experience with design systems and creating reusable components for scalable design.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience with motion design and creating micro-interactions to enhance user experiences.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies and working closely with developers to bring designs to life.
• Experience working on SaaS platforms or large-scale digital products.
