Site Manager

Key tasks

1. Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors (or person in charge) to monitor costs
2. Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
3. Coordinating and supervising construction workers
4. Selecting tools and materials
5. Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
6. Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
7. Maintaining quality control procedures
8. Finding ways to prevent problems and to solve them
9. Assessing and minimizing risk
10. Writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork
11. Helping to negotiating contracts and securing permits and licenses

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with majoring in Civil Engineer or Architect
• Good knowledge product and material
• Understanding construction and interior details
• Minimum 5 years in a similar field
• Willing to work overtime (during weekend)
• Able to operate Auto Cad or any related software
• Able to understand layout or work plan
• Good communication skill
• Problem-solving skill
• Decision-making ability
• Ability to motivate others
• Teamworking skill
