Software Engineer 3 [UI, Data Visualisation, Charts]

We are looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining intuitive and responsive interfaces that surface data-driven insights to our end customers. This role bridges the gap between our backend data infrastructure and our end users, delivering valuable reports and visualizations that help customers make informed decisions.

You will collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to transform raw data outputs into polished, interactive experiences.

Work Arrangement

• Full-time position
• Hybrid work model (2 days per week in the office)
• Monday to Friday, 5-day work week (flexible work schedule)
• Eligible to reside and work in Bandung (Indonesian citizenship only)

Key Accountabilities

• Develop scalable, user-friendly web interfaces to display data reports and dashboards
• Integrate with APIs and data services built by the Data Engineering team
• Build reusable front-end components using modern frameworks
• Work with designers to implement clean and accessible UI/UX
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance for front-end applications
• Collaborate in an agile environment with regular feedback loops and iterations

Qualifications and Competencies

• 3+ years of experience in Full-stack Web development
• Experience with Ruby and Rails/Padrino
• Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL (PostgreSQL will be a plus), and Cloud (AWS knowledge will be a plus)
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Experience in visualization of data using charts, tables. Experience in frame works like D3 charts, React charts will be a major plus
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Familiarity with integrating RESTful APIs. Ability to write backend services to expose data as Rest end points will be a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
