Our facility in Batam, Indonesia specializes in the production of lighting and detection product technologies including our Specialty Lamps for industrial and photonics applications, IPL Lamps and Trigger Coils, as well as Infra-Red Detectors (IRD), Sensor Modules and Pyro-electric Ceramic Wafers. Operating since September 1994, this site is also responsible for manufacturing of our Thermopile Sensors (TPS), Thermopile modules (TPM), CCD Sensors and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.

We are looking for a skilled MES Software Engineer to maintain, enhance, and develop our Manufacturing Execution System (MES). You will be responsible for setting up and adapting the MES system for new product transfers. This role provides the opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the digital transformation of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize the existing MES system to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Set up and adapt the MES system for new product transfers and future developments.
• Design and implement new features to support digitalization, such as environmental monitoring and control.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues and ensure system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and system integration.
• Comply to the standard of quality, environment, heath, and safety in his/her respective work area.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and system integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in developing and managing MES systems, including new product setups.
• Knowledge of digitalization trends in manufacturing, particularly related to monitoring and control systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and project management principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
