Sr. Software Engineer

Job Summary

Responsibilities: ¿ Understand software requirements and specifications to develop comprehensive test cases and test scripts. ¿ Execute test cases and scripts to identify defects and issues, and accurately document test results and defects. ¿ Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve issues and ensure the quality of the software. ¿ Participate in test planning and strategy discussions to ensure thorough the effective testing processes. ¿ Conduct regression testing to verify the resolution of previously identified defects and to prevent regression issues. ¿ Provide feedback on the usability and functionality of the software to contribute to continuous improvement. ¿ Ensure that the software meets quality standards and complies with requirements. Qualifications: ¿ Bachelor¿s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field. ¿ Minimum 5 years in software testing role ¿ Proficiency in software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. ¿ Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate issues and collaborate effectively with the team members. ¿ Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing. ¿ Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze software functionality and interpret test results. ¿ Familiarity with testing tools such as test case management software and defect tracking systems. ¿ Understanding of the software development lifecycle and the role of testing within it. ¿ Relevant certifications such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) are a plus.
