About the role:
The Student Admissions Officer provides expert assistance in relation to applicants and entry requirements to education agents and future students for Deakin University Lancaster University Indonesia (DLI).
This involves entering applicant data, processing applications and ensuring excellent customer service and quality standards are upheld.
The person we seek will have the following:
- Relevant qualifications and demonstrated work experience OR significant work experience within the education industry or related area, including admissions experience in the Indonesian and International education systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to deal effectively with stakeholders by phone, e-mail and in person
- High level computer skills including an understanding of and experience in using various student management and admissions systems
- Demonstrated commitment to the provision of a high-quality client-focused services
- Experience in managing a high volume of tasks with competing priorities in an organised manner and within strict deadlines
- Record keeping skills, including the ability to accurately and independently prepare basic correspondence, on a range of student admission and recruitment matters
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to offer solutions to problems
- Demonstrated fluency in English and Indonesian
Desirable:
- Experience with relevant CRM systems, including StudyLink

The Deakin University Lancaster University Indonesia (DLI) campus will open to students in September 2024, offering five dual undergraduate programs in the areas of Business and Information Technology. The dual degree programs combine subjects from undergraduate programs at both universities, enabling students to achieve two individual degree qualifications (two testamurs) in just three years of undergraduate study. The campus will also offer ELICOS courses and a one-year foundation year as a direct pathway to the three-year undergraduate programs.
The Indonesia campus will be located in Bandung, West Java, which is recognised as an important and vibrant location for higher education in Indonesia. Navitas as a Global Education provider will lead the operational delivery of the campus, building on its existing partnerships with both universities.
