Role Summary:

Implement the organization's tax strategy to optimize the amount of tax the company pays and ensure it complies with all relevant local and international tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Direct tax-related activities in accordance with the tax strategy to ensure the organization meet its tax obligations and objectives.
  • Involved in tax planning; research; compliance; reporting and filings; auditing; and communicating with external tax agencies.
  • Handle and manage Group tax management and compliance.
  • Prepare and monitor Group Tax budget to achieve optimization of effective group tax rate
  • Evaluate activities, policies, practices, and transactions to ensure they comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ensure all tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Advise senior management on tax matters and on the potential impact of laws and regulations on the operation of the organization. This includes monitoring, assessing and advise management on actual tax vs tax budget and inter-company pricing policy.
  • Select and manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and advisors to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of tax professionals to ensure the organization's tax strategy is implemented accurately and consistently and in compliance with all relevant regulations, laws and standards.
  • Recommend and lead implementation of tax management tools.
  • Prepare transfer pricing documentation for entire supply chain.
  • Secure benchmark studies to support transfer pricing arrangement.
  • Respond and advise on direct and indirect tax issues relating to operations and across.
  • Review and advise on commercial and legal documentation.

To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A degree in the related job field.
  • Those with 4 - 7 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role will have an advantage but not essential.
  • Willing to relocate to the job location.
