Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for independently identifying solutions to common and complex supply chain issues, supporting new product introduction from planning through execution, and conducting data analysis, interpreting findings, and contributing to decision-making within product introduction. The role assists in managing supply chain models, creates frameworks to address supply chain problems, and acts as a peer leader on cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute supply chain product NPI/Refresh deployment plan to enable profitable growth personal system business in the Market.
  • Established supply chain presence in APJ market to support management in driving prioritized list of NPI activities and focus areas. APJ market focal point in communicating deployment plans & schedules to key stakeholders. Reinforce NPI / Refresh program requirement & alerting program risks. Developing mitigation plan to minimize the impact to business.
  • Independently identifies solutions to common and complex issues within a project or product introduction, by applying strong understanding of supply chain.
  • Supports new product introduction from planning through to execution and provides learning from the product introduction for further process improvement.
  • Develops schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, logistics, and other support requirements for assigned program in collaboration with both the company & contract manufacturing teams.
  • Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.
  • Conducts data analysis and interprets findings to identify major conclusions and formulate summaries for supply chain projects.
  • Acts as a peer leader and owns decision making on a cross-functional team, and as a resource to other business units for issues on supply chain.
  • Evaluates and manages relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
  • Identifies inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the supply chain and operations processes, and implements process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
  • Work proactively with GBU, CM, EDM, APJ/Country CO and other cross functional team for DCR, Regional Base Units creation, Corp. BOM setup, Country offerings and drive the changes as per regional factory requirements.
  • Understand country requirements and work closely with ODMs for Base Unit level preparation.
  • Participate actively in RMA, Logistics discussion and bridge between Factory Ops, ODMs, Contract Manufacturer and other cross functional teams.
  • Willing to be based in Batam.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
  • Speaks Bahasa and Mandarin would be a plus. Fluent English is a must.
  • Solid knowledge in project / program management. Proven Ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting priorities, projects of significant scope and complexity.
