Sustainability Executive

PT Agro Perkasa, a subsidiary of the Mewah Group located in Jakarta Province, is one of a leading palm oil trader poised to emerge as a major global trader in the palm oil industry. We are seeking a skilled Sustainability Executive to provide support for our operations.

Placement in Medan, North Sumatera.

In this position, we need you to play vital role in:

• Assist in executing the Group’s Sustainability and Climate action plans, including supply chain assessments.
• Ensure internal operations and external supply chains comply with standards like ISPO/RSPO/ISCC/NDPE, IRF, HRDD/EUDR, and others.
• Collaborate with consultants and NGOs to deliver Sustainability training and briefings for suppliers.
• Work with smallholders to achieve RSPO certification.
• Conduct onboarding for new suppliers and provide refresher briefings for existing ones.
• Engage with stakeholders, manage grievances, and ensure completion of corrective action plans.
• Compile Quarterly Sustainability updates, including traceability/location data and GHG calculations. Provide support for sustainability programs and other tasks as assigned.

What you will need to succeed in this role:

• Candidates should possess at least a diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Environmental Science, Sociology, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Sustainability field.
• Strong knowledge of RSPO, ISPO, ISCC, NDPE, and EUDR, with prior experience in the Oil Palm Plantation industry.
• Background in Smallholder Certification processes, smallholder development programs, agronomy, and environmental and social issues is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written in English.
• Skilled in using MS Office applications.
• Must be mature, able to work independently, and possess effective organizational skills.
• Willingness and ability to work, live, and travel within a plantation environment.
