Purpose of Role: Seeking a Tax Compliance Accountant to support our Tax Manager. This role involves ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all tax compliance activities, maintaining precise financial records, preparing tax returns, and minimizing tax liabilities in accordance with Indonesian tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Compliance & Support for Tax Audits: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding taxes (excluding WHT Art. 21). Assist in preparing necessary documentation for tax audits.
• Tax Documentation & Legislation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date tax records and documentation. Ensure all legislation changes are understood and followed.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring all tax-related items are accurately reported and reconciled.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Tax Coordinator, who handles tax correspondence and day-to-day tax transactions.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Taxation, or a similar field.
• CA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Holder of Brevet A & B certificates.
• Three (3) years or more experience in Indonesian Tax Compliance.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to work with all sections of the company to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite, SAP knowledge.
