Responsibilities

  • Responsible for translating design intent into technical specifications, ensuring product fit, construction, and quality meet brand and customer expectations.
  • Acts as a key liaison between design, production, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate product development.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Diploma or in Fashion Design, Textile, Garment Technology, IGTC Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in technical design or product development, ideally in retail womenswear apparel with bottom & outwear category.
  • Experience working with factories/vendors (both local and overseas).
  • Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, patterns, sizing/grading, and fabric behavior.
  • Ability to create and interpret tech packs and technical specification sheets.
  • Experience in fit evaluation, creating fit comments, and communicating corrections to factories.
  • Knowledge of apparel production processes from sampling to final production.
