Metso is looking for a Technical Sales Support – Mill Lining Metallurgy Specialist. Acting as the metallurgical process expert in the MA; Working with sales team to support sales opportunities, build campaigns, opportunity funnel, priorities, and solutions. Dedicated front line customer technical support with metallurgical process advice to market area
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
- Supply metallurgical process advice to market area Mill Lining TSS and SAM teams
- Interlink between MA and Expert Services and other product groups to develop collaborative opportunities
- Benefit analysis and communication of mill lining design updates
- Generating literature and presenting at industry events
- Responsible for supporting and/or leading sales opportunities for mill lining BA in the determined geographical region/customer allocation
- Ensures timely progress of the sales case from lead to quotation/proposal and negotiations.
- Responsible for the value argumentation, value proposition and win plan of sales cases and overall, for the technology. Ensuring value co-creation is effectively leveraged with the customer
- Complex proposal development from data collection through to concept design, detailed proposal creation and delivery with customer presentations
- Ensures profitability of the sales cases and the BA in line with pricing policies
- Direct customer link for remote and on-site technical support including; condition monitoring inspections, analysis and reporting, stock management, installation support, and troubleshooting, while acting as the technical interlinkage between MA and BL
- Use of customer relationship management (CRM) tools to facilitate BA forecast and sales funnel/case generation together with the sales team for defined geographical region/customer allocation
- Works closely with the tier 2 technical sales support to deploy new product information, best practices, sales trainings and technology specific value argumentation
- Supporting Warranty process and escalate product quality issues to Tier 2 Technical Sales Support
- Supporting and monitoring sales cases from order through to delivery while directing the supply chain function’s alignment with customer and regional demands
- Ensure that Site Account Managers have adequate training and support to determine opportunities and sell their products
- Ensure proper fulfillment of all QEHS rules and regulations of Metso and Customers
- Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgical/chemical/process Engineering disciplines with 10+ years’ experience in minerals processing, and/or,
- Have 10+ years previous exposure to operation of minerals processing concentrators including comminution circuits.
- Show a high level of communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel remotely as required by Motor Vehicle or Commercial or Charter Flights.
- Hold a current local country driver’s licence.
