Our facility in Batam, Indonesia specializes in the production of lighting and detection product technologies including our Specialty Lamps for industrial and photonics applications, IPL Lamps and Trigger Coils, as well as Infra-Red Detectors (IRD), Sensor Modules and Pyro-electric Ceramic Wafers. Operating since September 1994, this site is also responsible for manufacturing of our Thermopile Sensors (TPS), Thermopile modules (TPM), CCD Sensors and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.

We are presently seeking a Test Engineer who responsible to ensure the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive testing, analysis, and process improvement.

Main responsibilities:

• 
  Perform Failure Analysis: Identify, analyze, and resolve product failures to improve product quality and reliability.
• Tester Performance Analysis: Conduct thorough performance evaluations of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct FMEA and DOE: Utilize Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies to assess and mitigate potential risks in testing process.
• Create Work Instructions: Develop and maintain detailed work instructions for testing procedures to ensure consistency and quality across production lines.
• Review and Improve Processes: Continuously assess current processes and implement improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance testing process.
• Sustain and Improve Production Yield: Work closely with production teams to sustain and increase production yield by identifying and addressing quality issues related to testing process.
• Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations in daily work activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role, with a strong preference for experience in semiconductor or Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) environments.
• Proficiency in ICT (In-Circuit Testing) and FCT (Functional Circuit Testing), strong understanding of electronics schematics and testing methodologies.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to apply statistical methods to problem-solving.
• Training in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
