Position: Bilingual English–Indonesian Language Professional

Type: Contract

Compensation: $10–$20/hour

Commitment: 10+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated Indonesian translations for fluency, clarity, and accuracy.
  • Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, or tone inconsistencies in content.
  • Suggest improvements to ensure natural, idiomatic usage in Indonesian.
  • Provide structured feedback on linguistic quality and cultural appropriateness.
  • Maintain high reading speed and attention to detail across varied content types.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Native or near-native fluency in both Indonesian and English.
  • Deep familiarity with contemporary language usage in Indonesia.
  • 1+ year of experience in translation, localization, or language QA.
  • Excellent reading comprehension and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to linguistic detail and cultural nuance.
